Out of Bucky, Jason Todd and Uncle Ben, only Uncle Ben has stayed dead as far as I know. It seems like only the C-lister ethnic heroes and women get to rest in piece (pieces in the case of the latter group).

Speaking of dead heroes slated to be revived, what did you think of Ben Reilly? Was he popular enough to warrant somebody dressing up as him for events? I imagine if they were really pressed, they could throw a purple hoodie over an old Spider-Man costume and call it the Scarlet Spider!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-989335273355995337.post-34619911179102229492011-10-01T19:57:05.219-04:002011-10-01T19:57:05.219-04:00Ha, ha, the Big Two have no shame when it comes to...Ha, ha, the Big Two have no shame when it comes to killing/reviving characters. Except for ethnic C-listers--when those people die, no one cares enough to revive them (DC had a lot of those in the 90s, particularly on the Detroit version of the JLA).

Speaking of the death/revival cycle, I hear they're reviving Ben Reilly soon. What did you think about him? I'm sure the guy Marvel had to play him just threw a hoodie over the old Spider-Man suit and called it the Scarlet Spider!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-989335273355995337.post-35582629276279605472011-09-27T12:55:40.222-04:002011-09-27T12:55:40.222-04:00Give Marvel time, he'll be dead again before y...Give Marvel time, he'll be dead again before you know it!

:-)Vroom!https://www.blogger.com/profile/02118086021873909292noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-989335273355995337.post-50175497916585843152011-09-26T11:54:24.411-04:002011-09-26T11:54:24.411-04:00I enjoyed the article, but I must point out that S...I enjoyed the article, but I must point out that Scott Lang was resurrected recently and has passed on his mANTle to his daughter.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
