Former Marvel Bullpenner and colleague Steve Bunche and creator/author of the Vault of Buncheness blog—for which you will find a link to the right—took this photo a few weeks ago at Dragon Con, one of the country's longest-running and most popular fantasy conventions, held each year in Atlanta.
I think it is pure genius; a brilliantly executed depiction of ace Daily Bugle photographer Peter Parker, a.k.a. Spider-Man, on an assignment when his Spider Senses start tingling, just as original Spider-Man artist Steve Ditko conceived, and every Spidey artist has emulated since. Bunche took copious amounts of photos of the costumed attendees—superheroes and pop culture icons—many of which are truly amazing.
